If you found no issues with your internet connection and the Discord servers are stable and working properly, the problem must lie in the Discord or network settings. Since misconfigured voice settings are one of the main contributors, we can start fixing this issue by resetting the Discord voice settings.
2. Enable Quality Of Service High Packet Priority and Debug Logging
Quality of Service is a setting in Discord that indicates to the router that the packets transmitted by Discord are high-priority. This can reduce latency and improve call quality by marking the voice packets with higher importance. However, enabling it can also cause connection issues if the network cannot manage QoS properly. If the issue is resolved after turning on the feature ‘Enable Quality of Service High Packet Priority,’ then you should continue with this setting; otherwise, turn this setting off. Additionally, you can also disable Debug Logging, which saves debug logs and allows users to upload log files to Discord support for troubleshooting. This has worked for some affected users, so we recommend disabling Debug Logging alongside the ‘Enable Quality of Service High Packet Priority’ feature.

A clean reinstallation of Discord will remove all the existing files, including the corrupted ones that might be interfering with the RTC connection or preventing Discord from connecting to the server.
